Introduction…

It’s awesome that you’re keen to read the Not Ashamed Youth Inspires. Our prayer is that they would really help you in your walk with God, really help you to be all you can be in God and inspire you to never settle for second best but to go after all that God has for you that you may truly bring all glory and honour to Him in all that you do.

One Sunday morning I opened the curtains of our youngest boy’s bedroom to discover that in the night one of the massive Gum Trees that we had on the boundary fence next to the house had been blown over from a storm in the night. It was one of those times when words can’t describe how thankful to God I was. If the tree had come down towards the house it would have crashed straight through my son’s bedroom and who knows what would have happened.

As we stood there looking at this massive tree on its side, it didn’t take long to realise what had caused it to go down. Seeing its roots exposed, you could tell they had been shallow, extremely shallow, there was no depth to them, nothing to anchor this huge tree.

We pray that through the different Not Ashamed Youth Inspires, that they will be a part of God growing strong deep roots in you, in your walk with Him. That when the storms of life hit you, you won’t be blown over but stand strong in your faith, Not Ashamed of Jesus, Not Ashamed of the Gospel and Not Ashamed to Live It!
