Not Ashamed Youth is a charitable trust with the journey of Not Ashamed Youth starting back in 2002 with Andrew Whitehead starting as Youth Pastor of Howick Baptist Church in Auckland, New Zealand. For Andrew in starting his new ministry at Howick it was very much a sense of seeking God on what exactly He wanted Andrew to be doing in this new role. Over the next 12 months God started to lay on Andrew's heart the dream that is now Not Ashamed Youth but the dream was always bigger than just one church. The dream to see an entire generation rise up, full on for God, Not Ashamed of Jesus, Not Ashamed of the Gospel and Not Ashamed to Live it!

In 2005 Not Ashamed Youth with the blessing of the leadership of the church separated out from Howick Baptist Church releasing Andrew 2 days a week to focus on Not Ashamed Youth.

In 2006 the Not Ashamed Youthcharitble trust was formed and in January 2007 Andrew resigned as youth pastor of Howick Baptist Church to put his full focus on Not Ashamed Youth.

Right now we have a range of Not Ashamed Youth Merchandise, a Preaching Ministry and a free weekly email devotional called Not Ashamed Youth Inspire which currently has just over 750 subscribers from as far away as the UK, America and India.

We are also in the process of developing a range of bible Study resources for Youth Ministries and a series of fiction books that targets 12-15 year old girls.
